The site
is as yet pretty straightforward. Here are the pages that follow and what they contain:
meditation book - the entire book, in pdf format, is available for reading
or downloading.
short writings - these are brief essays
on various topics having to do with consciousness and personal growth. I hope you'll find them fun and stimulating to
read.
further writings - additional musings on our
personal and collective evolution. I'm adding to this page frequently.
counseling walks - a service I offer that is a great fit for some fit people.
contact - how to email me (and a picture of an incredible Pacific sunset).
links - friends' websites that you might find particularly interesting.
Since this directory is so brief, I'll use the space here to acquaint
you with something I've been trying lately both personally and with some of my clients. It comes from the emerging
area of Positive Psychology and is called the Three Good Things exercise. Before you go to bed at night, you think
of (and, if you want to, write down) three good things that happened today and why you think they did. That's it, the
whole exercise. What I've found it does is significantly shift your viewpoint toward the positive. We (my clients
and I) find ourselves more appreciative of the large and small blessings in our lives. During the day we often think
of what we're going to mention to ourselves that night. I encourage you to try it for a few days.
It takes almost no time, and you may be happy with the results!
